Atlanta, GA. – Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux announced a new restaurant prototype coming soon to fans around the country. For the first time since 2016, the Atlanta, GA-based, family-friendly sports bar is bringing its amped-up menu and immersive sports experience to its fans with corporate-owned restaurants featuring a brand-new arena. The new restaurant format enhances the guest experience with upgraded technology and fine-tuned comfort.
Walk-On’s plans to develop restaurants using their new innovative format at multiple sites in the greater Atlanta area. With growth as the cornerstone, Walk-On’s CEO Chris Porcelli believes that “this new format will significantly improve the guest experience and create additional lower cost opportunities for current and future franchisees while staying true to the heart of a walk-on.”
Every day is game day at Walk-On’s restaurants, featuring an elevated exterior look, modern interior design, as well as technological equipment upgrades in the kitchen so fans can continue to enjoy Walk-On’s flavorful high quality, scratch-kitchen menu.
“Being the undisputed greatest family-friendly sports bar in America has always been our vision,” said Founder Brandon Landry. “It’s a place for fans of all ages to cheer for their favorite teams and celebrate wins with their families. That isn’t going to change. In fact, it’s going to get even better. Our new restaurant format is going to give our fans that same game-day feeling in an even more comfortable, high-energy, family-friendly space.”
Walk-On’s plans to build corporate restaurants in the greater Atlanta area. This will be the first time the Brand has opened corporate restaurants since 2016, and leadership intends to do it right.
“We’ve taken a lot of time to meet with our franchisees to discuss their experience running restaurants and collaborate to identify ways to simplify operations,” said Chief Development Officer Jennifer Striepling. “With a lower cost, more efficient prototype with better return on investment, there will be more opportunities for our current franchisees to expand their businesses successfully, and for new franchisees to join the roster.”
Walk-On’s will be opening their first Atlanta restaurants with this new format in 2025 and looks forward to expanding their reach to hundreds more locations across America.
